Geraldine Pierson, 85 of Maryville, Missouri died on Thursday, October 17, 2019, at Nodaway Nursing Home, Maryville, Missouri. Born July 7, 1934 in Maryville, Missouri, she was the daughter of the late John and Bethie (Harris) Kempf. She married Alva O. Pierson October 25, 1953 in Maryville, who survives. They have resided at Nodaway Nursing Home for the past year. She was a graduate of Class of 1952, Burlington Junction, MO High School and was retired from food service, northwwest Missouri State University. She was preceded in death by eleven siblings. Surviving are son Gary Wayne Pierson, St. Joseph, MO, daughters, Vickie (Jim) Colvin Maryville, Barbara Ann Vinzant , Maryville, and Pamela Kay Pierson Maryville, four grandchildrend and 8 great-grandchildren. A graveside services will be 10:30 AM Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at Nodaway Memorial Gardens, Maryville No formal visitation is scheduled.
