Rita Mae Warden of Mineral Point, Missouri was born on January 28, 1954 in Richwoods, Missouri and departed this life on August 6, 2017 having reached the age of sixty-three years, six months and nine days. Rita was united in marriage to Bernard Lee Warden Sr. on April 5, 1969 in Potosi, Missouri. She is survived by her husband Bernard Warden of Mineral Point, Missouri; three daughters, Virginia Lee Warden and John Parmeley of Mineral Point, Missouri; Robin Gail Huskey and husband, Steven of Mineral Point, Missouri; Carrie “Karen” Annette Moss and Shave Davis of Leadwood, Missouri; three sons, Bernard “BJ” Lee Warden Jr. and wife, Holly of Mineral Point, Missouri; Joseph “Joe” Leon Perry of Mineral Point, Missouri; Jeffrey Aaron Perry of Mineral Point, Missouri; two sisters, Lena Courtois of Mineral Point, Missouri; Sheila Gaylord and husband, Kenny of Mineral Point, Missouri; one brother, Gerald “Jerry” Boyer and Vanessa Wiles of Park Hills, Missouri; twenty-four grandchildren: Christopher, Nickolas, Makayla, Leonna, Wesley, Trevor, Brianna, Jensen, Carson, Paelynn, Gabriella, RitaGail, Seth, Deacon, Jacob, Hunter, Lacy, Layla, Skyler, Sarah, Kyle, Ryan, Shane and Shawn; three greatgrandchildren, Layne, Hayden and Conner; also surviving are other relatives and many friends. Rita was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Lester Boyer and Mary Monica (DeClue) Boyer; one son, Scotty Ray Perry; two sisters, Mary Joan Boyer and Brenda Boyer; two brothers, Leon Joseph Boyer and Dennis Peter Boyer. Rita worked at Beltwell Pant Factory and was also a cook at Kennons Café. She always looked forward to holidays and big family gatherings. Rita loved her family and adored and cherished her grandchildren. She enjoyed helping build their house, getting to spend time with Bernard and loved taking trips to the lake and cabin. Rita was a very skilled seamstress who had a passion for sewing, costumes, wedding dresses, bridesmaid dresses and flower girl dresses. She will be forever remembered for the love she shared with all. Visitation was held Wednesday, August 9, 2017 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Thursday, August 10, 2017 from 8:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri. A Funeral Service was held Thursday, August 10, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri with Elder Leonard Compton officiating. Final Prayers and Burial took place in the St. Stephen Catholic Cemetery, Richwoods, Missouri. Services were entrusted into the care and direction of the Moore Funeral Home, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
