Ronald Dale Hill better known as Ronnie departed this life on Sunday, September 24, 2017 at his home, surrounded by the care and love of his family. Ronnie was born May 31, 1942 in Potosi, a son of the late Marple (Wilson) Kirby and Amos Hill. Ronnie was Seventy-five years, three months and twenty-four days of age. Ronnie was united in marriage to Ruth Ann Lowe on August 2, 1963 in Sullivan, Missouri. Ronnie is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Ruth Ann Hill of Potosi; daughter, Kelly Hill of Fredericktown; son, Christopher Hill and his wife Lynn of Hallsville; grandchildren, Donnie Guinn of Afton and Kalli Guinn of Fredericktown; brothers, Gordon Hill and wife Judy of Herculaneum and Don Hill and wife Lealla of Potosi; sisters in law, Sharon Hill of Potosi and Fay Hill of Jefferson City; Brothers in law, Kenneth “John” Lowe and wife Deanna of Leslie, Missouri and Jim Cresswell of Potosi; sister in law, Jeanie Coleman and husband Lindell of Terre DuLac, and by many other relatives and dear and special friends. In addition to his parents, Ronnie was also preceded in death by a son, Kevin John Hill; brothers, Merle Hill and Blaine Hill; sisters, Margarete Bays and Naomie DeClue; brothers and sisters in law, James “Jack” Lowe, George “Bud” Lowe, Jerry Lowe, Danny Lowe, Richard Lowe, Joyce Hartupee and Berniece Cresswell. Ronnie was a long time business owner in Potosi from 1982-2007 where he owned and operated a flooring business. He had also served as the City of Potosi Judge for Eighteen Years. Ronnie loved the St. Louis Cardinals and was always ready to watch or go to a game. He enjoyed Mizzou Basketball. After his retirement his greatest joy was reading and playing cards. He was always ready to help his family and friends. Visitation for Ronnie was held Wednesday, September 27, 2017 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 Pm at the Moore Funeral Home. Funeral Services were held Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at 7:00 PM at the Moore Funeral Home with Reverend Jerry Compton officiating.
