Barbara Ann Myers, Age 84, passed away June 22, 2017 in Springfield, MO Barbara was born April 20, 1933 in Springfield, MO. A lifelong resident who graduated in 1951 from Springfield Senior High School. She attended both Drury and SMS. A long time member of University Heights Baptist Church singing in the choir13 years. In her youth her lovely voice could be heard in many churches in the Springfield area. Barbara was preceded in death by her mother and father George and Aleen Killingsworth and her brother Frank Killingsworth. She is survived by her beloved husband of 62 years Ken Myers, a son William Wayne Myers and wife Jan, two grandsons Matthew Wayne Myers and wife Katie, Kristopher Kendall Myers and three great-grandchildren George, Molly, Annabell and a multitude of friends and neighbors. Graveside services will be at Maple Park Cemetery on Monday, June 26, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. under the care of Greenlawn Funeral Home South. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Humane Society of Southwest Missouri.
