Brenda Sue Adams
Brenda Sue Adams passed away on Sept. 24, 2016 in Billings. She was born in Cody, WY on May 31, 1962.
Brenda grew up playing softball, riding her dirt bike in the summer and her snow mobile in the winter. She loved to be out with the family horses and riding them every chance she got. She graduated from Billings Senior High in 1980. She went to one year of college at Ricks College in Rexburg, ID.
In 1982, Brenda met Rick Adams and they were married for time and all eternity in the Cardston, Alberta LDS Temple, April of 1984. In November of 1994, Brenda and Rick adopted their beautiful baby girl, Chelsea.
Throughout her life, Brenda loved children and she operated a daycare from her home for many years. All of the children and parents loved her and many still kept in contact after the many years. She was devoted to her faith and served in whatever capacity she could in her church callings. Brenda was a compassionate and loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend to all of those around her. She had a sweet, but feisty attitude and could make anyone laugh.
Brenda is survived by her eternal companion, Rick Adams of Billings; daughter, Chelsea Adams of Billings; Sisters, Rhonda Hunt, Terry Smith, and LaDonna Rollins; Brother, Don Turley; and many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be October 1, 2016 at the LDS Chapel, 1000 Wicks Ln, at 10 a.m. with a viewing before at 9 a.m. in the chapel gym. Funeral arrangements are being done Smith’s Funeral Home on 27th street. In lieu of flowers, send memorials to the Brenda Adams memorial fund under Chelsea
