Cynthia Ellen Wagner Obituary

Cynthia (Cindy) Ellen Wagner,64, of Billings, passed away on March 16 at her home due to complications from health issues.

Cindy was born on April 22, 1954 in Lake Hiawatha, NJ to Henry and Ellen Corback. She was raised with her older Brother Henry. Cindy was a free spirit and that took her all the way from “Jersey” to the blue skies of Montana.

On August 1, 1982 she married Gary Wagner and became mother to two little boys who she loved as her very own.

Cindy was a unique and special person. She was a giving soul and was always worrying and taking care of everyone else. Cindy was tough when she needed to be and could chew you a “new one” all at the same time giving you the shirt off her back because you needed it, and a hug to tell you it would be all right.

Some of her favorite past time when not working was spent fishing with Gary in their special vacation spot by White Sulphur Springs. She would joke they would only take a bag of potatoes, an onion, butter and the rest was up to Gary to make sure they could complete dinner. She loved to read and always had her nose in a book. A huge animal lover, all the neighborhood strays liked to hang at Cindy’s house from birds to bunnies, cats to rescue pound puppies. They always new they’d be well fed and loved unconditionally.

She worked tirelessly and helped thousands with their medical journey at Billings Clinic in the patient accounts department for 30+ years, retiring in 2017.

Cindy was preceded in death by her father Henry J. Corback in 2014 and is survived by her husband Gary; Mother, Ellen; brother, Henry Jr; sons, Lee (Cheryl) Wagner, John Wagner; grandsons, Tyler & Kyle Wagner, Jordon Hughes; grand-daughter Audry Wagner and dear friend, Christine Oviatt

Cremation has taken place. Due to Cindy’s wishes there will not be a funeral service.

Cindy, you were loved by many and will be missed by all. Rest in Peace.
