Donald Martin Weinzetl
<p> Donald M. Weinzetl was born on March 7, 1934 in Huntley, Montana to parents Martin and Agath Weidinger Weinzetl. After the passing of Don’s mother, his father married Helen and they raised Don on the family farm at Pompey’s Pillar.</p><p> Don enlisted in the Army following high school and served 30 months of his 3 years in France. He also served in the Army Reserve. Don held several government jobs including with the Bureau of Reclamation, Bureau of Public Roads and the Bureau of Land Management.</p><p> Don is survived by his wife of 32 years, Darlene, children from his first marriage to Carole Janich, Donna Weigand, Carla Christ (James), Monica Weinzetl, and Lach Weinzetl (Lindsey), grandchildren, Shelby, Shane, Candace, Chaz, and Poppy, brothers, Dave Weinzetl and Ken Weinzetl, 6 stepchildren, and numerous step-grandchildren.</p><p> Don died on Saturday, June 1, 2019 in Billings. He was preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Agatha, his stepmother, Helen, brother Dickey Weinzetl, and granddaughter Ashley Weinzetl.</p><p> A funeral Mass will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, July 12, 2019 at the S.S. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church in Ballantine followed by a reception and lunch.</p><p><br></p>Obituary
