Max Durney

<p> Max Durney passed away on June 1, 2019. He was born in Richmond, Utah to parents Laretta Anderson </p><p>Durney and John Roy Durney on June 20, 1931. He was one of 5 children. </p><p> Max met his wife Darlene Dietz in Butte, Mt and was married to her in 1952. He served his country in Korea. </p><p>He became a meat cutter and held that job for 41 years. He spent many years being active in his church. Max was an avid outdoors person. He liked to hunt, fish, hike and shared that with his children and grandchildren. To stay in shape and to continue those activities he became a jogger. He participated in many races, completing 4 state marathons. Max is preceded in death by parents and a sister Gaile Rodriguez. He is survived by wife Darlene, children Danette Curfman (John), Joleen Burnett (George), Max A. Durney, his fourteen grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren, his brother Dan Durney, sisters Verla Taylor and Darlene Van Hoose (Bill).</p><p> Max was well loved by his family.</p><p> Private services are planned.</p><p><br></p>

Max Durney passed away on June 1, 2019. He was born in Richmond, Utah to parents Laretta Anderson

Durney and John Roy Durney on June 20, 1931. He was one of 5 children.

Max met his wife Darlene Dietz in Butte, Mt and was married to her in 1952. He served his country in Korea.
