Timothy Jonathan Gilmore Obituary

Timothy J Gilmore, age 68, passed on February 14, 2018 in the comfort of his home. He was born June 24, 1949 in Santa Ana CA to James and Margaret Jean Swanson Gilmore. Tim grew up in southern California and attended parochial school until his graduation from high school. Tim attended St. Mary’s college in Moraga CA and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Governmental Affairs.

On September 3rd, 1984, he was married to Blanche Jean Panter (BJ) in Hailey ID. They were blessed with three children, Erin Jean Martinez (John) Lakewood CO, Brian Patrick Gilmore (Marlene) Wellington CO, and Sean Michael Gilmore (Jennifer) Billings MT.

Tim retired from a lengthy and hardworking career in foundation work and governmental affairs. Tim’s biggest priority in life was his family. He was devoted to community service, fulfilling any religious calling given and loved to fish and enjoy a satisfying meal and conversation. He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by one brother, James Gilmore of Lake Elsinore CA, one sister, Sheila Gilmore of Irvine CA, his wife BJ of Billings MT, his children and their spouses and 9 grandchildren.

The family extends many thanks for all the kind gestures and services they have received over the past months. Services in Montana are, Visitation 4-6 PM, Sunday, Feb. 18, Smith West Chapel, 304 34th St W. Funeral service 11 AM, visitation 10 AM, Monday Feb. 19, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 2620 54th St W. Services in Colorado are, Interment 11:30 AM, Grandview Cemetery, W Mountain Ave and Memorial service 2 PM Thursday, Feb. 22, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 6251 Carmichael St.
