Corrine Pascoe Obituary

Corrine Mary Wilson Pascoe was born in Valentine, NE on July 17, 1928 to Frank and Amanda (Reagle) Wilson. She was the youngest of 6 children. She graduated from Valentine High School and Omaha School of Cosmetology. She met and married Emory Pascoe in Omaha, NE. The couple moved to California where they owned and operated a salon. Four children were blessed to them. They moved to Valentine, NE in November of 1964. They built and operated Emory’s Hair Stylist until they retired. She was a member of the United Methodist Church and taught Sunday School. Involvement in the Boy Scout and Girl Scout programs was a big part of her life. She was the Neighborhood Chairman for the Valentine Girl Scouts where she was instrumental in raising funds for the building of the current Girl Scout Cabin located in the city park. She was also Vice President of the Guiding Star Girl Scout Council. Corrine belonged to the Hospital Auxiliary and has been active in volunteering at the hospital, church, and Senior Center bake sales. She enjoyed knitting baby caps for the hospital newborns, being with family, working in her flower garden, traveling and playing bridge. Corrine passed away December 12, 2019 in Rapid City, SD. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Emory Pascoe; sisters: Dorothy, Helen, Evelyn and Margaret and brother, Frank. She is survived by her four children: Tom Pascoe (Joanne), Linda Kelley (Tim), Kathy Sazama (George) and John Pascoe (Sue). Twelve grandchildren: Sharae Carter, Joe Pascoe, Jordan Pascoe, Janelle Whitely, Kimberly Bowles, Thomas Kelley, Amy Sazama, George Sazama III, Michael Sazama, Shelby Pascoe, Sawyer Pascoe and Reece Pascoe. There are 12 great grandchildren: Gillian, Caitlyn and Emma Carter, Cooper Pascoe, Liam and Wyatt Bowles, Shawn Kelley, Dylan Stader, Lincoln and Nolan Sazama and Socora and Sage Stoner. We would like to thank all the people who have been involved in our mother’s life.
