Ernest Currier

Ernest Gene Currier, 56, of Mt. Prospect Road, Holderness, NH died April 21, 2017 at his home, after a period of declining health. Born in Plymouth, NH on August 9, 1960, he was the son of the late Bertram K. “Gumpy” Sr. and Patricia Ann (Nelson) Currier. Ernie has been a lifelong resident of Holderness and attended Holderness and Plymouth AREA High School, in Plymouth. Ernie worked for his uncle Buzzy at Squam Lakes Automotive, Trapper Brown Corporation, and as a machinist for many years for Harmony Metal Products, all in Holderness, NH. Ernie was an avid snowmobiler. Ernie was predeceased by his father who died in November of 2006, and his Brother Danny, who died in September of 2014. Ernie is survived by a daughter, Bristol Cross of Sanford, FL., his mother, Patricia Ann (Nelson) Currier of Holderness, brothers, Bertram K. “Buttons” Jr., his sisters, April A., and Ann M. “Lovey”, aunts, an uncle and many cousins. A graveside service will be held in the Trinity Churchyard Cemetery, NH Route #175, Holderness, on Wednesday, May 3rd, at 11am. The Rev. Edward J. Charest will officiate.
