Esther Ward Obituary

Esther Vlasta Ward, 76, of Rumney, NH., went to the Lord on September 14, 2017, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Monatonas, Manitoba, on March 21, 1941, she was the daughter of Milton and Amalia (Mares) Springle. Esther grew up in Burlington, Ontario, and graduated from Nelson High School, in Burlington. She also graduated from Trinity Bible College in Clearwater FL. She has been a resident of Rumney for many years. Esther was a Rural Bible School teacher and then became the Director of the Rural Bible School. She served for over twenty-five years with the New England Fellowship, where she was a Director of Cathedral in the Pines Girls Camp, a Financial Administrator for a short time, and in all aspects of helping the Bible Fellowship. Esther was a very dedicated in her faith with the Lord and has brought many people to him thought out the years. She was an avid painter and singer. Esther is survived by her husband of fifty-two years, Kenneth A. Ward of Rumney, her brother, Edward Springle of Santa Rosa, CA., her sister, Mildred Syptak of Toronto, Ont., nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Elsie Luksa. A funeral service will be held in the Baker Valley Bible Church, 259 NH Route #25, Wentworth, NH. on Tuesday at 2pm. The Rev. Paul Powers will officiate. Burial will follow in the Immanuel Cemetery, School St. Rumney.
