Frederick Carver Obituary

MOULTONBOROUGH---Frederick Norman Carver, (70) passed away on June 29, 2017 at his home in Moultonborough, NH after a long illness. He was in the company of his wife of 43 years and three loving children. Frederick was born in Farmington, ME and lived in Rangely ME, at the Carver Lodge on Rangely Lake. His grandfather Clarence Gile was a Maine Guide and guided, President Dwight D. Eisenhower and Ted Williams. Fred was honored to have attended the fishing trip a very young age. Frederick attended North Yarmouth Academy and went on to study at Bowdoin College. He received a degree in English with a dual minor in Astro physics and theoretical astronomy from Belknap College. He married Cynthia Woodman in 1973. He worked for the City of Dover, NH as an engineer and surveyor, then moved on to Bald Peak Country Club after the birth of this third child. He retired from Bald Peak Country Club in 2011. Fred enjoyed spending time with his children as a Cub Scout Leader, He was a Lieutenant in the Civil Air Patrol for five years. His hobbies included painting, drawing, photograph, and known for being an avid story teller. He leaves his loving wife Cynthia, daughter; Beth, sons; Benjamin and Jonathan. He had three grandchildren; Gabriel, Laura and Eva-Lyn. His sister; Linda Van-Curan and family in NY. He was a loving father and husband. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to maybe made to; Central New Hampshire Visiting Nurses Association and Hospice, 780 North Main Street Laconia, NH 03246.
