Henry Weden

DORCHESTER---Henry A. Weden, (88) passed away on September 2, 2017 at Speare Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. Henry was born on April 21, 1929 the son of Henry and Helen (Pfitzmayer) Weden in Queens, New York. Shortly after high school, Henry enlisted into the United States Army serving in the Korean War. In 1967 he moved to Dorchester, NH working for 16 years at Plymouth State College. Henry loved entering contests and raffles and playing the lottery, giving to Easter Seals and other charities. He was always very kind hearted always giving and helping others. He is survived by his cousins, niece and nephew and many dear and special friends. Henry is predeceased by his parents. Henry’s friends would like to extend a special thank you to the doctors and nurses at Speare Memorial Hospital for their special care to Henry during his brief stay there. Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to St. Judes Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105. At Henry’s request services will be private. The Mayhew Funeral Home 204 D.W.
