June King

June Pearl King, 89, of Birch Place, Plymouth, died April 20, 2017 at Golden View Health Care Center, Meredith, after a period of failing health. Born in Plymouth on June 11, 1928, she was the daughter of John Oliver and Arberta (Bacon) Thompson. She was a life-long resident of Plymouth and a graduate of Plymouth High School, class of 1947. June worked for several different local companies over the years, including; former Perry Lamp Company, former Sprague Electric, and Plymouth Stitching. June was a seventy-six year member of the Lower Interval Grange #321, in Plymouth and the Seven Orders of Grange. She was also a member of Tops #25, in Plymouth. June was predeceased by her husband John William King, who died in September of 2003. June is survived by her children, John W. King II of Tulsa, OK, Dale MacDonald and her husband Neil of Plymouth, Nancy J. Scothorne and her husband Brian of Holderness, NH, Dan O. King and his wife Janet of Plymouth, NH, nine grandchildren, three great grandchildren, brother, E. Wayne Thompson and sister Arberta Cogliano, both of Bridgewater, sister, Bernice Lowell of Bristol, NH, many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held in the Mayhew Funeral Home, 204 Daniel Webster Highway, Meredith, on Monday, April 24th, at 11am. The Rev. David Rollert, pastor of the Lakes Region Church of Christ, Tilton, will officiate. Burial will be held later in the Riverside Cemetery, Plymouth, NH.. Memorial donations may be made to the Lower Interval Grange #321, 50 Cummings Hill Road, Plymouth, NH. 03263.
