MEREDITH---Lillian Lucille Haskins, (95) passed away from this world to the next at Golden view Health Care Center on July 4, 2017. Lillian was born on March 14, 1922 in Fall River, Massachusetts the daughter of John and Maria (Richards) Letourneau. She was the youngest of 10 children. She went to school thru the 8th grade and then worked as a seamstress in the mills. She was a very talented seamstress. She married James Bernard Haskins and had three children - James, Patricia (McDaniel) and Brian. She worked many years as a nurse’s aide at St. Anne’s Hospital, Truesdale Hospital and Catholic Memorial Home, all of Fall River, MA. She worked until she was 65 and retired. When she became a widow in 1973 she joined her newly married son Jim and wife Denise and they built a home together in Lakeville, MA. She lived there for 40 years. After a period of failing health she moved in with her son Brian and her daughter in law Linda. Lillian was a long-time member of St. Bernard’s Parish of Assonet Mass. Her family was her life She had 6 grandchildren; Lauren Mauer of Oaklyn NJ, Chris Menard of Dartmouth, MA, Shawn Haskins of Moultonborough, NH, Jessica Robisheau of Wolfeboro, NH. She also had 8 great grandchildren; Leah, Riley and Brian Haskins of Moultonborough, Nicholas and Hayden Robischeau of Brookfield, NH., Kaley and Kaitlyn Menard of Dartmouth, MA and Daniel Mauer of Oaklyn, NJ She was predeceased by her husband; James Haskins, her grandson; Eric Haskins who died in 1997.
