Timothy Rosewarne

Timothy Richard Rosewarne, 64, of Thornton, died peacefully at his home on Tuesday, July 11th, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Clarksville, TN., on September 24, 1952, he was the son of A. Stanley and Rose Amelia (Bean) Rosewarne. Tim grew up in Campton and graduated rom Plymouth High School, class of 1971. He resided in Waterville Valley for many years and has been residing in Thornton for the past several years. Most all of Tim’s working years have been spent in Waterville Valley. He worked at Windsor Hill Condominium for twenty-two years and then joined the Town of Waterville Valley Highway Department. Tim was also a Public Safety Officer, an EMT-1, and served as Deputy Fire Chief on the Waterville Valley Fire Department. Tim was an avid outdoorsman, who loved hiking, golfing, and skiing. He also enjoyed traveling to the Southwest and several fishing trips to Alaska. Tim was most proud of his granddaughter, Eloisa. Tim is survived by his wife, Leslie (Allen) Rosewarne of Thornton, his son, Michael R. Rosewarne and his wife Andrea, his granddaughter, Eloisa, his sister, Robin Laroche and her husband Mark, “sister” Betzi Osgood Taoka, several cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many wonderful friends. A graveside service will be held in the Blair Cemetery, Blair Bridge Road, Campton, NH., on Saturday, July 22nd, at 11am. The Rev. Michael Pelletier, pastor of the Campton Baptist Church, will officiate.
