William Feather

William H Feather III, 61, died unexpectedly on December 30, 2016, in Thornton, NH. Bill was born on May 11, 1955 in Camden, NJ to William JR and Dorothy (Martin). He grew up in Cherry Hill, NJ. After High school, Bill attended Drexel University in Philadelphia for a few semesters, but decided to start his work life early, working utility construction and soon opening his own company; William H. Feather Contracting Corp. By 38, Bill sold his company and moved his family up to Waterville Valley, NH. Bill was a volunteer firefighter and EMT for Waterville Valley. He worked tirelessly for 22 years on Waterville Valley Ski Patrol, the last 10 of which he was Patrol Director. He had retired in April 2016 and has been enjoying the freedom of living on his terms with his beloved wife Pud. Bill was an accomplished skier, mountain biker, hiker, fisherman, boat captain, equipment operator, and a guy who just knew how to get things done. He could often be found working and maintaining his property. He loved Biddeford Pool, ME, where he spent most of his summers fishing and relaxing on the beach. He also loved Key West, FL, and would take multiple trips there per year with his wife. Bill is predeceased by his father, William H Feather JR in 1977. His Mother Dorothy (Martin) in 1989. Also by his brother Glenn Feather and his sister Wendy Rey in 2016. He is survived by his wife M. Denise Feather, and his 2 sons William Feather IV and Robert Dubreuil, as well as cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends. He was loved by many and will be missed by all.
