Dolores M. Heins nee Gambarella, 89 of Lanoka Harbor, NJ died on Thursday July 24, 2018. Born in Clifton, NJ she lived in Long Island, NY before moving to Lanoka Harbor 30 years ago. She owned and operated Smithtown Florist in Smithtown, NY for many years. Dolores was the first female Commandant of the Coast Guard Auxiliary in Long Island. Predeceased by Her husband Paul and by her 2 brothers Frank and Emil, and also her 4 sisters Rose, Theresa, Nancy, and Patricia. She is survived by her daughter Phyllis DiBrino of Lanoka Harbor and Woodland Park, NJ her son Paul Heins of Florida. A Sister Marion Dolcemascolo of Toms River, NJ. A sister in law Josephine Gambarella. 5 Grandchildren; Richard, Brian and Matthew DiBrino, Paul Heins and his wife Kathleen and Megan Heins and her wife Nicole, 2 Great Grandchildren; Ellie Rose DiBrino and Carly Ann DiBrino , 1 Great Great Grandchild Paul Edward Heins and also many nieces , nephews, great nieces and great nephews. There will be a Viewing for Dolores on Friday July 27, 2018 from 1 to 5pm with a Service at 4pm at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals O’Connell Chapel 706 Hwy 9 Bayville, NJ.
