Ralph William Hartmann, 88 of Bayville passed from this life Tuesday, September 24, 2019. Ralph was born March 28, 1931 in Manhattan, New York to the late William and Isabelle Hartmann. He served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War and was a cook. He enjoyed making grand meals for his family and friends, especially for the holidays. He was known to have a great sense of humor and always enjoyed making people laugh. Ralph never met a stranger. He was a loving husband, and a devoted father. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Ralph was predeceased by his parents, wife, Margaret Hartmann; son, Ralph Hartmann, Jr; and daughter, Noreen Ann Hartmann. Ralph is survived by his son, Brian Hartmann of Port Republic; daughter Therese Hartmann of Bayville; brother, Arthur Hartmann and his wife Ann of Sun City West, Arizona; sister Barbara Wells of Peekskill, New York; great grandson, Brayden Hartmann and granddaughter, Allison Gifford as well as many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends and relatives Thursday, October 3, 2019 from 9am until 11:30am with a Service to begin at 11:30am at Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 706 Atlantic City Blvd, Bayville, New Jersey. Committal services will be held at General Brigadier William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Park, Wrightstown, New Jersey.
