Timothy Joseph Elphick, 60 of Beachwood passed away Thursday, July 19, 2018. Timothy was born March 24, 1958 in Paterson, New Jersey to the late (Spencer)Thomas and Margaret (Connors) Elphick. Tim was a devoted parishioner of St. Barnabas RC Church, and a Veteran in the Air National Guard. He was an avid reader; he loved all sports, fishing, the Beach, and beer. He loved his work for ConEd in Manhattan, where he was an electrical splicer, and a Shop Steward for Union Local 1-2 and he loved his Con-Ed brothers. Tim had an infectious laugh, exuberant personality and sharp wit. His greatest Love was for family; his Wife, his 5 “Girls,” his son-in-law, his brothers and sisters, his in-laws; Jim(Pop), Jim & Maria, Don & Karin, Mike & Deb, all of their children, Becky & Jeff, and his large extended family. All who knew him felt his Love. Timothy was predeceased by his parents. Timothy is survived by his devoted wife Dena Elphick; daughters, Lauren Elphick of Baltimore, MD; Jenny Elphick Clausen and her husband Ken of Denver, CO; Katie Elphick of Conrad, SC; Alissa Zaccone of Brick, NJ; Erica Zaccone of Norwalk, CT; brothers, Thomas Elphick of Spring Hill, FL; Dennis Elphick and his wife MaryAnne of Richmond, VA; Kevin Elphick and his wife Sue of Bechtelsville, PA.; Joe Elphick of Wrightsville Beach, NC; sisters, Grace Batelli and her husband Tom of Riverdale, NJ; Eileen Macaluso of Newport Richey, FL; Twin Sister, Peggy Donaldson of West Milford, NJ; and Maureen Valliancourt and her husband Dave of Stroudsburg, PA. Tim also had numerous nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews. The family will receive friends and relatives on Monday, July 23, 2018 from 5pm to 9pm and Tuesday, July 24, 2018 from 5pm to 9pm at Timothy E. Ryan Home For Funerals, 706 Rt. 9 Bayville, New Jersey. A Catholic Mass will be held at 11 am Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at St. Barnabas Catholic Church, 33 Woodland Rd., Bayville, New Jersey. Committal Services will be private.
