Bill Johnson passed away peacefully on January 19th, 2019 with his loving family by his side. Born in Colestown he was a lifelong resident of the Columbus/Bordentown community.

Bill began his carrier working in the machine shop of United Aero Products. He then went on to start his own machine shop in Columbus called Johnson’s Machine Shop. He was a member of the Bordentown Elks 2085 where he served as Past Trustee and as a past member of the Board of Directors. He was a brother of Mt. Moriah Lodge #28 F & AM and a member of the Hedding United Methodist Church.

Son of the late William and Mary Johnson, he is predeceased by his sibling, Edith Murphy, Ruth Bada, Wilmont “Buddy” Johnson

He is survived by his wife, Jean M. Johnson, his children, Bill Jr. (Arlene) Johnson, Debbie and (Ron) Franks, Donna Black, Paul and (Lori) Nixon, his 9 grandchildren, Jennifer, Ronnie, Becky, Kevin, Kristy, Aaron, Ryan, Samantha, Zachary, his 7 great grandchildren, Jackson, Kaylee, Juliana, Alexa, Amelia, Colleen, Kenny, his brother, Everett and (Delaney) Johnson,

Donations may be made in Bill’s name to either the Bordentown Elks Lodge 2085 11 Amboy Rd, Bordentown, NJ 08505 or Hedding United Methodist Church PO Box 25 Columbus, NJ 08022.

Funeral services will be celebrated on January 24th, 2019 11:00am at the Bordentown Home for Funerals 40 Crosswicks St. Bordentown NJ 08505. Calling hours will be held Wednesday evening 6~9:00pm with Elk services at 7:00pm and Thursday morning 10:00 until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Florence
