DeSantis, passed away peacefully on February 20, 2019 with his loving family by his side.</p><p><br></p><p>Born in Trenton he was a life-long resident of the Bordentown community. Dennis was a Master Carpenter and General Contractor. For many years he ran a successful contracting business which included building his own home.</p><p><br></p><p>He was a natural athlete; who played golf, baseball, softball. Dennis had a love for the outdoors. He felt a strong sense of freedom when he was riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle.</p><p><br></p><p>Son of the late Michael and Joann DeSantis, he is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Shannon and Matthew Zaremba, his son, Dennis M. DeSantis Jr., his grandchildren, Sophia and Jack Zaremba, his sister, Marylou Dilks, his brother, Michael “Mickey” DeSantis, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>A Celebration of Dennis’s life will be held on Monday February 25, 2019 7:30 pm at The Bordentown Home for Funerals 40 Crosswicks St. Bordentown. A gathering of family and friends will begin at 6:00pm Monday evening until time of the service. Interment will be private.</p><p><br></p><p>At the family’s request in lieu of flowers donations can be made directly to the funeral home to offset the funeral costs.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>Arrangements are under the direct care and supervision of Robert L.
