Dateline Bordentown Doris W. Zoubek McDonald born on 10-19-1920 in NYC. During the depression her family moved to Osage, NJ and then to Haddonfield, NJ where she graduated from Haddenfield High School. She enlisted in The United States Navy and served in WWII from 1946-1949 in Washington DC. After her discharge she enrolled in Rider College and graduated with a Bachelors Degree through the GI Bill. She married in 1950 to Robert Francis McDonald who died in 1960. She is Predeceased by her brother Arthur Zoubek and her sister Alice Zoubek Marshall. Doris was a secretary at RCA during the early space launches and then for many years as a legal secretary for Katz, Bitterman and Doughtery. She was very active in the Episcopal Church, St. Mathias in Trenton and then at St. Stephens in Whiting where she retired. She is survived by her daughter Nancy D. McDonald (Shapiro) one granddaughter, Jordan R. Shapiro (Olivero) and her husband Anthony J. Olivero, three great grandsons, Kieran, Anthony and Austin, her niece and nephew, Jannette Zoubek and Donald Zoubek. Due to the current pandemic, a Memorial Service will be held for family and friends at a later date. Arrangements are under the direct care and supervision of Robert L.
