Elizabeth L “Betty Lou” Harney, passed away peacefully on December 31st 2015. Born in Trenton she was a life long resident of the Bordertown community before retiring to the Palm Coast 10 years ago.
She was employed as the manager of the Burger King located on Rt130 in Bordertown for many of years. An avid bowler and past parishioner of St. Mary’s church, Betty Lou will be remembered as the mom all the kids on block came to visit. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, caring friend and will be missed by many.
Daughter of the late Edward & Helen Walters, she is predeceased by her husband John M. Harney, her brother Hugo Walters she is survived by her children, John M. Jr. (Donna) Harney, Kathleen (Richard) Martin, Cynthia (Michael) West, her grandchildren, Ava, Joshua, Elizabeth, Jacklyn, and her sister-in-law, Markay Walters,

Funeral Services will be held on Friday January 8th 2016 10:00 at the Bordentown Home for Funerals. Calling hours will be held Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00pm and Friday morning from 9:00 am until the time of the service. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery Bordertown.
