On the morning of April 15, 2020, Herminio P. Santos of Bordentown, NJ went to be with the Lord at the age of 71. He was born to parents Pedro and Carina Santos in March 6, 1949 from Bustos, Bulacan Philippines. He received his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1969 from the MIT of the Philippines. On July 1981, he immigrated to America with his wife and children and resided in Edison, NJ most of his life. He worked for several companies for 45 years as a consultant specializing in HVAC and retired from the NJ Department of Community Affairs in 2016. In January 1971, he married Isabel Santos, and together raised three children. Herminio was an avid traveler, loved to watch cooking shows and news on tv, fishing and reading. He was known for his good sense of humor, volunteered in church, intelligence and contagious laughter among his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Pedro and his mother, Carina Santos. His greatest joy in life was being surrounded by his family especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his loving wife, Isabel, his 3 children, Christian, Corinne married to Mero and CJ, his grandchildren, Isabella, Nathan, Andrew, Hailey, Winston and Sebastian. He is the youngest among the 4 siblings, Leonor Espiritu, Marita Celestino and Amando Santos. The family has entrusted Bordentown Home for Funerals with the arrangements. A private memorial is scheduled for April 20, 2020 at 11am. Due to the current pandemic, a Memorial Service and Celebration of Life will be held for family and friends at a later date.
