Dateline Columbus, Irene J. Zalegowski passed away peacefully on Thursday October 15th 2015 at her son's home. Born in Reading PA, she resided in Riverside PA and Gibbstown NJ before moving to Homestead at Mansfield. Irene's greatest joy in life was her family; she will always be remembered as a loving wife, devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and a wonderful friend who touch the lives of everyone she met. Daughter of the late, John and Rose Przecha, she is predeceased by husband of 50 years Frank S. Zalegowski, she is survived by her loving children, Ronald (Jeanne) Zalegowski, Christine (James) Downing, Anita Marie Zalegowski, Debra (Douglas) Cropf, Frank J (Krista) Zalegowski, her 11 grandchildren, her 23 great grandchildren her siblings, Dorothy, Virginia, Henry, Geraldine and Antoinette, many nieces, nephews and dear friends. In Lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Irene's name to St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church 45 Crosswicks St. Bordentown NJ 08505. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Wednesday October 21st 2015 12pm at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church 45 Crosswicks St. Bordentown NJ 08505.
