Joseph Delpup

Joseph L. Delpup “Joe”, passed away peacefully on Tuesday November 19, 2019 with his loving wife by his side. Born in Highstown NJ, Joe was a long time resident of the Yardville community. Joe enlisted in the United States Army serving in the Vietnam War. Upon his discharge, Joe started his career as a computer operator for McGraw Hill located in East Windsor NJ.He retired after 43 years of dedicated service. Joe was an avid golfer and hunter. He was a proud parishioner of St. Vincent de Paul Parish in Yardville and a life member of the Bordentown Elks Lodge 2085. He enjoyed volunteering for the Veterans Committee, Special Children’s Committees and playing in the shuffle board League. The son of the Late Joseph and Sylvia Delpup, he is survived by his beloved wife Margaret “Peg” A. Delpup, his sisters and brother-in-law, Norma and Jack McNinney, Doris Herdman, and many nieces, nephews and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joe’s name to the Bordentown Elks Veterans Committee, 11 Amboy Rd, Bordentown, NJ 08505 A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday November 25, 2019 11:00 am at St. Vincent de Paul Parish 555 Yardville Allentown Rd, Trenton, NJ 08620. Calling hours will be held Sunday from 6:00 ~ 8:00pm and Monday morning from 9:30 ~10:15 am at the funeral home. Elk services will be held Sunday evening starting at 6:00pm. Burial will take place at Princeton Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the direct care and supervision of Robert L. Pecht, Bordentown Home for Funerals 40 Crosswicks St. Bordentown, NJ 08505.
