Obituary for Julius Borocz

Dateline Chesterfield

Julius Borocz, 89, passed away peacefully on Saturday August 4th at his daughter’s home in South Carolina with his loving family by his side. Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong resident of Chesterfield. Julius enlisted in the United States Coast Guard; serving proudly in the South Pacific during WWII. He was honorably discharged in 1946. After the war he returned to Chesterfield where he became the owner and operator of two gas stations (Mobile & Atlantic) both located in Bordentown.

He was a member of a camping club for motor homes called the “Jersey Hobo’s”. Julius’s greatest joy in life was spending time with his family and friends; he will be remembered for sitting outside of his house in Chesterfield wearing his WWII hat and sunglasses, waving to all the neighbors.

The son of the late Daniel Sr. and Rosa Borocz, he is predeceased by his wife, Dorothy Borocz, his brothers and sisters, Frank, Dan,Louie, Margaret, Rose, Helen, Mary, and Ethel, he is survived by his daughters and son-in-law, Linda S. and Daniel L. Bloom, Joan C. Borocz, his grandchildren, Kimberly and John Wiesniewski, Joseph and Julie Cole, Daniel Bloom Jr., Larry Bloom, Warren and Kim Bloom, Kellie and Robert Kosch, his great-grandchildren, Devynn, Dominik, Jules Wieniewski, Jenna Mae Cole, Daniel Bloom III, Alexandria Bloom, Brittany, Robert, Ty Kosch, his very special companion, Violet Parker, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral Services will be celebrated on Saturday August 11th 10:00am at The Bordentown Home for Funerals 40 Crosswicks ST. Bordentown. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 6:00 to 8:00pm and on Saturday from 9:00 to 10:00am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Bordentown Cemetery, Bordentown.
