Lawrence J. Inman 78 passed away peacefully on April 1st 2014 at Capital Health Helene Fuld Medical Center Trenton with his loving family by his side. Born in Trenton, Larry was a life long resident of Bordentown Township. In 1952 right after his High school graduation, Larry enlisted in The United States Army to start his 22- year military career.

During his career he served thru out the world including, Vietnam, Germany, France, Belgium and The United States. He received two Bronze Star Medals in connection with military operations against the enemy in the Republic of Vietnam from November of 1967 to November of 1968. The Bronze Star Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster was for outstanding meritorious service. The second Bronze Star Medal with Device for heroism was in connection with military operations against an armed hostile force. He retired in 1972 with the rank of Sergeant First Class. Larry then was employed with Rider College for another 15 years retiring in 1987. Larry will be remembered for his warm smile, engaging personality and his love for the Army. But his greatest joy in life was spending time was being a husband, father, grandfather & great-grandfather.


The son of the late Lawrence and Lena Inman, he is predeceased by his loving daughter, Cindy Sommerville, his brother, Bobby Inman, he is survived by his beloved wife, Larene A. Inman, his Daughter and Son-in-law, Teresa and Stephen Walter, his Son and Daughter-in-law, Larry and Alicia Inman, his 6 grandchildren, his 4 great-grandchildren, his Richard Inman, his sisters, Joanne Harrison and Linda Inman, and many nieces, nephews and friends.

A Celebration of Larry's life will held on Saturday April 5th 11:30am at The Bordentown Home for Funerals 40 Crosswicks St. Bordentown. The Inman family will welcome friends from 10:00 until the time of the Service Saturday morning. Burial with full Military Honors follow at The Bordentown Cemetery.
