<p>Madeline Carolyn Balint, 74 </p><p><br></p><p>Madeline C Balint, aged 74, died peacefully on January 5, 2016 in bed next to her husband Joe. Madeline was born June 2, 1941 at Columbus Hospital in Newark to John A. Vanczak and Margaret Vanczak. Madeline grew up in Bordentown, NJ and was a 1959 graduate of William MacFarland High School. Madeline married Joseph Balint, Jr. on October 29, 1960 and they resided together in Trenton for nearly 50 years.</p><p><br></p><p>For 30 years Madeline was a compassionate, detail-oriented employee of NJ Division of Motor Vehicles and during most of those years she was the sole person responsible for processing all of NJ's fatal accident cases. Until her retirement in July of 2007 she walked to and from work each day. She could be seen walking during her lunch hours as she often trekked three miles across the Delaware over the Bridge Street Bridge into Morrisville and back to Trenton over the Calhoun Street Bridge.</p><p><br></p><p>Madeline's greatest passion was travel which took her to five continents and at least 46 states in the USA. She is survived by her husband Joseph Balint, Jr., her daughter Christine R. Balint, her sister Michele Kahler and her cousin Larry Koval. She is also survived by her half sister Edith Robinson and Edith's children and grandchildren. A private memorial will be held at the destination Madeline chose for her final rest. In lieu of flowers Madeline requested that donations be made in her honor to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital 800-805-5856.</p>
