Dateline Bordentown Mary M. Eckman, passed away peacefully on Monday January 23 2017, at the Compassionate Care in Robert wood Johnson Hospital. Born in Bordentown she resided there all of her life. She was employed with AT&T for 10 years, but Mary will be remembered for her 38 years of employment at the Farnsworth Deli. Mary was a life member of Hope Hose Humane and she was one of the first of 13 women to be certified to ride on the ambulance. Known for her gardening and “keeping the sidewalk clean” she was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother. Daughter of the late Charles and Elsie Mulvan, she is predeceased by her brothers, Thomas Mulvan, her sisters, Margret Dallas, and Katherine Kaczorek, she is survived by her brothers Charles Mulvan, and Kenneth Mulvan, and sister Lee VanDenberg. Her son and daughter-in-law, John and Cindy Albertson, her step-daughters, Sharon McCarty, April Hanyecz, her grandchildren, Michael Dobronte, Robert Brown, Michele Donegan, and 6 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and friends. A Celebration of Mary’s life will be held on Monday January 30 2017 10:00am at the Bordentown Home for Funerals 40 Crosswicks St. Bordentown. Calling hours will be held Sunday evening 6:00~9:00pm and on Monday morning 9:00~10:00am, with services at 10:00 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Bordentown Cemetery.
