Maurice William Rainier, Sr. Bordentown NJ

Maurice (Marcy) Rainier, 65 of Bordentown, NJ passed away Friday, December 4, 2015 surrounded by his loving family after a brave fight with cancer. Marcy was born on August 1, 1950 in Trenton NJ.

Marcy was an avid hunter and fisherman. Whether hunting in West Virginia or Arkansas, playing in a quoits league, or at family picnics, he just enjoyed having a good time. His most treasured moments were spent with family and close friends. His pride and joy were his four grandchildren whom he loved to spend time with and spoil.

Marcy is preceded in death by his mother, Louise Rainier (Carman). He is survived by his two daughters, Christine Lachmanowicz and husband Marek of Florence NJ, Cynthia Veselka and husband Brett of Jourdanton, TX and son, Maurice Rainier, Jr and wife Linda of Salem, NH. Grandchildren Chloe Lachmanowicz, Autumn Veselka, Thomas Veselka and Kyle Lachmanowicz, father John Rainier Sr of St. Augustine, FL, siblings John Rainier Jr. and wife Patsy, Rachelle Brown and husband Russell and Roxanne Sobolewski and husband Kenneth. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and long time family friend Robert Marlin.

Visitations will be held on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 from 10:00 – 11:30 AM with a memorial service immediately following at Bordentown Home for Funerals, 40 Crosswicks St. Bordentown, NJ 08505. In lieu of flowers, donations in Marcy’s memory can be made to Moorestown Visiting Nurses and Hospice, Attn: Chickie Holcombe, 300 Harper Dr., Moorestown NJ 08057.
