<p>Dateline Florence</p><p><br></p><p>Michael M. Tardiff passed away peacefully on Monday November 3rd 2014 at his home in Florence with his loving family at his bedside. </p><p><br></p><p>Born in Trenton, Michael grew up in the Bordentown area and was a resident of Florence for many years. A 1970 graduate of Rider College, Michael was employed by The State of New Jersey: Department of Labor and Workforce Development as Chief of the Bureau of Programs, Services and Standards. He retired in 2007 after 36 years of dedicated service. </p><p><br></p><p> A gentle and good-natured man, Michael will be remembered for his intellect, wit, tenacity and selflessness. </p><p><br></p><p>He enjoyed traveling, cruises, cooking, reading, visiting Cape May and vacationing in LBI with his family every summer. But his greatest joys in life were his family and friends. Michael was a devoted husband, loving father, doting son and brother and a loyal friend, who will be deeply missed by many.</p><p><br></p><p>Son of the late Joseph M Tardiff Sr., He is survived by his beloved wife, Adele Nowicki Tardiff, his daughter, Lauren Tardiff, his son and daughter-in-law, David and Carissa Tardiff, his sister and brother-in-law, Nadine and Robert Daddona, his brother and sister-in-law, Joseph M. Jr. and Joan Tardiff , his mother Mildred Tardiff and many nieces, nephews and friends. </p><p><br></p><p>A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Saturday November 8th at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 45 Crosswicks St., Bordentown. Calling hours will be held on Friday evening from 6:00 - 9:00 pm and Saturday morning from 8:30 - 9:30 am at the Bordentown Home for Funerals, 40 Crosswicks St., Bordentown. Entombment will follow at Princeton Memorial Park, 403 Gordon Rd., Robbinsville.</p><p><br></p><p>In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Michael’s memory to Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, P.O.
