Nadine Daddona Obituary

Nadine Louise Daddona, 72, passed away peacefully in her home on Friday, April 6, 2018 with her loving husband by her side. Born in Trenton, Nadine grew up in the Bordentown area and later lived in Columbus for over forty years. Nadine was a member of St. Mary’s Parish in Bordentown, was a graduate of Cathedral High School and later Trenton State College School of Nursing, where she earned a Master’s degree. Throughout her career as a nurse, Nadine worked in a variety of settings, and ultimately spent the last twenty years of her career as a school nurse in the Florence School District before retiring in 2010. Nadine will be remembered as a beautiful woman of grace, faith, and perseverance, whose life centered around her family. There was nothing which brought Nadine more joy than spending time with her grandchildren. Nadine loved travelling to new places with her husband, spending summer vacations on Long Beach Island, getting lost in a good book, and tending to her flowers and vegetable garden. Daughter of the late Mildred and Joseph M. Tardiff, Sr., Nadine is survived by her loving husband, Robert Daddona, and her two daughters and sons-in-law, Cheryl and Jared Stein, and Karen Daddona and Brendan Bligh. Nadine was predeceased by her brother Michael Tardiff, and leaves behind her sister-in-law Adele Tardiff (Michael), her brother and sister-in-law, Joseph M. Jr. and Joan Tardiff, her three grandchildren, Jasper and Desmond Bligh and Violet Stein, and many nieces, nephews and friends.  A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Thursday April 12th at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 45 Crosswicks St., Bordentown. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday evening April 11th from 6:00 - 9:00 pm and Thursday morning from 9:00 – 10:00 am at the Bordentown Home for Funerals, 40 Crosswicks St., Bordentown.
