Dateline Bordentown Peter S. “Pete” Dombrowski, passed away on Wednesday April 29, 2015 at St. Francis Medical Center with his loving family by his side. Born in Dickson City PA., he resided in Ewing before moving to Bordentown Township in 1958. In 1947 Pete enlisted in The United States Army serving with the 405th Engineer Water Supply Battalion in Italy. He was employed as a Supervisor of Line Production for Carter Wallace; he retired in 1990 after 42 years of dedicated service. Pete was a former parishioner of St. Hedwig Parish of Trenton for many years, a member of the Bordentown Elks Lodge 2085 for 56 years and a parishioner of St. Mary’s Church of Bordentown. But his greatest joy in life was spending time with his family. He was a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather, a caring friend, and will be missed by many. Son of the late Stanley and Stella Dombrowski, he is predeceased by his brothers and sisters, William, Anthony, Alexander, Alfred, Frank, Josephine, Andrea, and Mary, he is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Virginia T. Dombrowski, his sons and daughter-in-law, Robert and Linda Dombrowski, Steven Dombrowski, his daughter and son-in-law, Diane Dombrowski and Dr.Rafael Miguel, his grand children, Dale, Brian, Falon, Sara Mia, Ava, his sister, Eleanor Grutkowski and many nieces, nephews, friends, and his dear neighbor Margaret Genicola and her adoring family . A Celebration of Pete’s Life will be held on Monday May 4th 2015, 10:00 am at the Bordentown Home for Funerals 40 Crosswicks St. Bordentown NJ 08505 (609)-298-0128. Calling hours will be held on Sunday evening from 6:00 ~ 8:00 pm with Elk Services at 6:30pm and on Monday morning 9:00am until time of Service. Interment will follow at St. Hedwig Cemetery Ewing.
