Dateline Bordentown
Philomena Bucco passed away peacefully on Wednesday March 28 2018 at the Masonic Village located in Burlington.
Born in Augsburg, Germany she was a long time resident of the community.Philomena loved to knit and play bingo. She enjoyed baking Christmas cookies and made lasagna that even an Italian chef would envy. She was overjoyed when a fellow German became Pope or when the German Soccer Team won the World Championship.
Daughter of the late Georg and Maria Bayerler, she is predeceased by her husband Victor Bucco, her son-in-laws, Raymond Mich and Norman Bartron. She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Gerda Mich, Ingrid Barton, Vicky and Bruce Reiordan,her son and daughter-in-law, Patrick and Chris Bucco, her 8 grandchildren, Nadine Barron, Mike Mich, Todd Bucco, Theresa Bucco, Jack Billetdoux, George Billetdoux, Norman Barron, Paul Reiordan. 3 great grandchildren, Jonathan Barron, Rebecca Guglielmelli, Joseph Billetdoux, and 1 great, great grandchild, Raymond Barron.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday April 4 2018 11:00 am at St. Mary’s Church 45 Crosswicks St. Bordentown. Calling hours will be held Tuesday evening from 6:00~8:00pm and Wednesday morning 9:30~10:30 am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery Bordentown
