Thomas Patrick Lynch

Dateline Philadelphia Dr. Thomas Patrick Lynch Jr., passed away unexpectedly on Friday April 28 2018 at his apartment in Philadelphia, PA. Born in Trenton, Tom was a long-time resident of Bordentown before moving to Philadelphia. A graduate of Bordentown Regional High School, Tom received a Bachelor of Science in Biostatistics at Ursinus College, he then studied Molecular Cell Biology & Genetics at Drexel University College of Medicine, he served his Internship at Johnson and Johnson. Tom received his PhD at Drexel University College of Medicine, he conducted his Postdoctoral Research at Rutgers University Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Tom was currently a Research Associate at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Tom will be remembered for his “quick-wit” and love of family. He enjoyed movies, watches, shoes and spending time at the shore. He was a loving son, grandson, brother and will be missed by many. He is predeceased by his grandparents, George and Helen Lynch, James F. Kelly, his great-grandparents, Don and Fern Dresher. He is survived by his mother, Cindy G. Lynch, his father, Thomas P Sr. (Janis) Lynch, his brothers, Ryan and (Christina) Lynch, Carlin Lynch, his grandmother, Susan A. Kelly, Aunts and Uncles, Dennis Lynch, George Lynch, Gail Lynch, John Lynch, Joe and Rose Lynch, Linda and Dennis Longstreet, first cousins, Stephanie, George, Robert, and many other cousins and friends. Donations maybe made in Thomas's name to The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia Foundation P.O. Box 781352 Philadelphia, PA 19178-1352. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday May 3 2018 11:00am at the Bordentown Home for Funerals. Calling hours will be held that morning from 9:00 am until the time of the service.
