Lillian Larsen Dalane, 95, of the Greenbriar II Community in Brick passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at Ocean Medical Center in Brick. Mrs. Dalane worked as a secretary at Time-Life before raising her family. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was an avid reader and enjoyed solving the NY Times Crossword Puzzles even up until recently. She also was a member of the Brick Presbyterian Church. Born and raised in the Bay Ridge Brooklyn, she lived in Wayne and Chester before moving to Brick in 1984. Mrs. Dalane was predeceased by her husband, Rolf Dalane in 2003; son, Richard Rolf; as well as by all of her siblings. Surviving are her son, Timothy C. Dalane and his wife, Sandra of Edison; daughters, Jane Rappleyea and her husband, Richard of Colts Neck and Nancy DeLuca and her husband, Paul of Ormond Beach, FL; and her granddaughters, Lindsey Rappleyea and Brittany Dalane. A viewing will take place on Sunday, December 15 from 2-5pm at the O’Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Road, Brick. Burial and committal services will take place 12:30pm on Tuesday, December 17 at the Brig. Gen. Wm. C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown in the chapel.
