Stephen Christopher White

Stephen Christopher White, age 51, passed away on Thursday, February 18, 2021 at his home in Raritan. Born at Fitkin Hospital in Neptune, Stephen grew up in West Belmar before moving to Tuckerton where he graduated High School in 1988. Raritan has been Stephen’s home from 2004 to present. Stephen was a volunteer for the Tuckerton First Aid Squad from 1986-1990 and then the Herbertsville First Aid Squad from 1990-1992. He worked as an Emergency Tech in the Er in Point Pleasant from 1989-1990 and then was an EMT for Alert Ambulance Service in Neptune City from 1994-1997 and was a Supervisor EMT/ambulance attendant from 1989-1994. Stephen worked at Home Depot in Bridgewater 2004 to 2019. He had to give up his job due to illness. He loved his Home Depot Family. He was an avid history buff and loved to learn all about history. He was also very interested in his family tree and learning about all of his ancestors. Stephen had a great sense of humor. Was very much loved and will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He is predeceased by his mother and father. Surviving are his siblings, Kevin White, Bryan White and his wife, Cathy and Dawn Springer and her husband, Joe; his nieces and nephew, Caitlin Springer, Ben Springer, Grace Springer and Lauren Brusky. Cremation was private and held under the direction of O’Brien Funeral Home, Brick. There will be a memorial service held at a later date.
