Liliane Antaki

Liliane M. Antaki (née Abboud), 81, of Livingston, NJ passed away peacefully on September 19, 2019. Relatives and friends are invited for visitation on Monday from 4pm through 8 pm at Shook’s Cedar Grove Funeral Home, 486 Pompton Avenue, Cedar Grove, NJ 07009. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Tuesday 10 AM at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church, Roseland, NJ 07068, with interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, NJ 07936. Condolences and memories may be shared at shookscedargrove.com. Born in Heliopolis, Egypt, she had fond memories of swimming in the Suez Canal as a young girl. She lived in Cairo, Egypt, married, then moved to Beirut with her family where she lived for many years before the family immigrated and settled in Livingston, NJ in 1982. Prior to her retirement, she was the office manager for Colonial Export in Whippany, NJ. A longtime parishioner of Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church in Roseland, she possessed a strong devotion to the Blessed Mother. Above all, she cherished the time spent with her family. She is survived by her beloved husband of 59 years, Marcel Antaki; devoted sons, Elie Antaki (June), Patrick Antaki (Michelle), Alan Antaki (Suzanne), and Roger Antaki; loving grandchildren, Nicholas, Kiersten, Natalia, and Maxim; dear brothers, Dr. Sami “Jimmy” Abboud, Magdy Abboud, and Rafik Abboud.
