Rita E. Corrado (Rossetti,) 88, of Cedar Grove, passed away peacefully on Friday surrounded by her family. Funeral Services will begin on Monday 9 AM from Shook''s Cedar Grove Funeral Home, Inc, 486 Pompton Ave. (Rt. 23) Cedar Grove 07009. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 am at Our Lady of the Holy Angels Church in Little Falls with interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday from 3-8 pm in the funeral home. Condolences and memories may be shared at shookscedargrove.com. Prior to her retirement, she worked for 37 years at Keuffel and Esser in Hoboken and Morristown as Traffic Manager. Rita Zizi as she was affectionately known to all family and friends, lived in CG for almost 50 years before moving from Jersey City. She loved going to Paradise Island, Belmar and Atlantic City. She loved to play the slots and socialize with her Atlantic City friends. She always dressed to the nines and loved her bling and high heels. And there was no better cook than Zizi-the best meatballs ever! Pre-deceased by her parents, Marco and Guilia (Rullo) Rossetti and sisters, Carmella Donatacci and Angelina Klunck. She was a loved and cherished aunt to all, having no children of her own. She is survived by her husband Carmine Sonny, and her beloved godchild and nephew Joseph Donatacci ( Maureen), nieces Norene (Klunck) Maione, Denise (Klunck) Petrillo, Lucille Donatacci (and Ralph Mazzola), great nephews and nieces: Camille Donatacci Grammer, Joseph Donatacci Jr, Marianne (Klunck) Slachta (Christopher), Paul (PJ) Maione, Jr (Melanie), Justin Maione (deceased), Jonathan Maione (Helena) and Stephen Petrillo, Deserie Petrillo and Michelle Petrillo (David Morales) and all her great-great nieces and nephews who loved her to the moon. Mason, Jude, Alyssa, Cayla, Christopher, Natalie, Vincent, Baby Maione-to-be, Luis and Angelina. And special family Paul Maione, Sr, and daughters Frankie and Alex Maione who Aunt Rita loved so much. And Nancy Fusco Kauffman, her BFFFL, who loved her and cared for her so well and was so much a part of her everyday life these past few years. The family will be accepting flowers, but if you would like to make a donation in her memory, please donate to the Cedar Grove Ambulance and Rescue Squad.
