Eleanor Davison, 87, of Newtown, PA, entered into her eternal rest on Sunday, May 24, 2020 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Langhorne, PA. Born in New Brunswick, NJ, Eleanor had been residing in Newtown, PA with her daughter Rose. She had worked as a machinist for the Wonder Chemical Company in Fairless Hills, PA for many years. Eleanor enjoyed being with her family, dancing, bowling, shopping, dining out, going to the movies, socializing with her friends at deaf clubs and traveling around the United States.
She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
Daughter of the late Frank and Katharine (Blaker) Skorupsky; beloved wife of the late Harry Oates and Raymond Davison; sister of the late Paul, Peter, John and Alexander Skorupsky. Eleanor is survived by her two children, Carl Oates (spouse Bonnie) and Rose Rau (spouse Bill); a grandchild, Taylor Oates; a sister-in-law, Ruth Skroupsky; and many nieces and nephews.
Private Christian funeral services for immediate family only will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2020 at 12:00 pm at the Parkside Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 1584 Parkside Ave., Ewing, NJ 08638. A viewing for family and friends will be held immediately afterwards from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm. Interment of her cremated remains will be at the Ewing Cemetery, 78 Scotch Rd., Ewing, NJ 08628 at a later date for immediate family only.
