Eleanore Dresser Ewing, New Jersey Obituary

Eleanore Dresser

Eleanore Nebozinsky Dresser, two months shy of 101 years old, passed away on November 25, 2018 at Pennswood Village, Newtown, PA. Eleanore was the beloved wife of Vincent Dresser, and doting and loving mother to Nancy and Jack, all of whom predeceased her. Eleanore, formerly of Ewing, NJ, was born in NYC and moved to Manville as a young child with her parents and nine brothers and sisters – Ann, Molly, Mildred, Dan, Rose, Lovy, Nadia, Amelia and Bill. She was a graduate of Bound Brook High School and received her B.A. in Education from Trenton State College. Eleanore taught Health and Physical Education at the Junior 2 & 3 Middle Schools in Trenton. Lover of art, flowers, nature and birds, she enjoyed painting, reading and being a member of the Pennington Presbyterian Bell Choir. Eleanore greeted everyone she met with her smile and sparkling blue eyes. As the last living child of Katherine and Louis Nebozinsky, Eleanore was cherished by her 26 nieces and nephews, and was the last link to their parents and grandparents. The stories she told of her childhood escapades with her parents and siblings, and of her husband and children, were vividly brought to life by her exquisite use of expressive words. A Memorial Service celebrating the life of this remarkable woman will be held on Sunday, April 7th at 11 am at the Parkside Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 1584 Parkside Ave., Ewing, NJ. Visitation will be from 10-11 am. Donations in her memory may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
