Eugene G Gross

Eugene G. Gross, 75, of Ewing, entered into God’s Care Friday, August 21, 2015 at his residence. Born in Peckville, PA., Mr. Gross moved to Ewing in 1971 where he designed and built his home. Mr. Gross was formerly employed with the New Jersey Water Authority as a Supervising Civil Engineer prior to his retirement. Gene as he was affectionately known by his family and friends was an avid Phillies and Eagles fan; he enjoyed trips to Atlantic City and Parx Casinos, horse racing, loved puzzles and trivia, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family. Predeceased by his parents, Stephen M. and Veronica (Kondash) Gross, two brothers, Stephen M. Gross, Jr. and Francis J. Gross, two brothers-in-law, Richard and Edward Gombos, he is survived his loving wife of 50 years, Doris (Gombos) Gross; his son, Eugene G. Gross, II and fiancée Alicia Falkinburg; his brother, Andrew P. Gross; one sister, Dolores V. Osterstuck; also survived one brother-in-law and many nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held 10:00 am Tuesday from Parkside Brenna Cellini Funeral Home, 1584 Parkside Avenue, Ewing, NJ 08638. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 am at Our Lady Of Good Counsel, 137 West Upper Ferry Rd., Ewing, NJ 08628. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Assumption Cemetery in Hamilton. Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 8:00 am to 10:00 am at the funeral home.
