Frank Chiacchio

Frank Chiacchio, 79, of Ewing, passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2016 at St. Francis Medical Center in Trenton. Born and raised in Trenton, Frank was a lifelong area resident. He was retired from Chris Craft where he had been employed for 30 years as an inspector. In the past he also ran a delicatessen, and worked for the maintenance department at Princeton University. Frank was a huge NY Yankee fan who loved to play the lottery, and enjoyed cooking. He was a loving and devoted father, brother, soulmate, and grandfather. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Son of the late Domenick and Mary (Schiariti) Chiacchio; husband of the late Dorothy (Stout) Chiacchio; Frank is survived by his soulmate of 50 years, Josephine Pastor; his only son, Frank D. Chiacchio; his daughter-in-law, Mary Jane Chiacchio; a granddaughter, Jillian Rose and husband Ryan Bucchi; his brother, Richard Chiacchio and wife Kathleen, and a sister, Joyce Sneddon; as well as several nieces, nephews, and other family and friends. Catholic funeral services will be held Friday, July 15, 2016 at 11:00 am at the Parkside Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 1584 Parkside Ave., Ewing, NJ 08638. Deacon Chuck Moscarello will officiate. Entombment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, 1200 Cedar Ln., Hamilton, NJ. Family and friends may call Thursday evening from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Friday morning from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Frank’s memory to the Shriner’s Hospitals for Children, 2900 Rocky Point Dr., Tampa, FL 33607.
