Joseph Phillips

Joseph (Joe) T. Phillips, Jr., 53 of Ewing, NJ passed away peacefully at Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton, NJ on Saturday, August 5, 2017 with his family by his side. Joseph was born in East Orange, NJ on July 20th, 1964 and was the son of the late Joseph T. Phillips, Sr. and Jean (Borquist) Phillips. He grew up in Edison, NJ before relocating to the Ewing area approximately 25 years ago. Joe was an avid football fan and was especially passionate about the Dallas Cowboys for most of his life. He also enjoyed WWF wrestling, Mets baseball, fishing and crabbing, Fleetwood Mac and spending time with his family, especially his daughter, Alyssa and dog Sage. He has been a member of the Sons of American Legion (SAL) for many years. Joe is survived by his former wife and mother of his daughter, Linda, his beautiful daughter Alyssa, both of Ewing, his sister Susan Asprocolas of East Windsor, his brother Thomas Phillips of South Toms River and a close uncle, John (Jack) Borquist of Edison. Joe will also be lovingly missed and remembered by extended family including nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Family and Friends may call on Wednesday, August 9th from 5-8 pm at the Parkside Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 1584 Parkside Ave., Ewing, NJ 08638. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Thursday, August 10th at Convent Presbyterian Church, 471Parkway Ave, Trenton. Burial will follow in Ewing Cemetery.
