Joyce (Pypcznski) Palumbo, 59, of Ewing, entered into God’s eternal care on Monday, November 16, 2015 at Capital Health Systems at Fuld in Trenton. Born in Trenton, Joyce was a life long area resident. She graduated with her Masters from Trenton State College. She was an educator with the Hamilton Township Board of Education for nearly 40 years, serving as a principal at both the Kisthardt and Mercerville Elementary Schools, a teacher at St. Ann’s, a librarian at Langtree, Lalor, and Grice Middle School, a curriculum supervisor, and was acting director of Human Resources for the Hamilton Township Board of Education. Joyce loved gardening, traveling, especially summers in Ocean City, NJ and loved spending time with her family. She was an active member of Delta Kappa Gamma, and was a member of the NJASL, the NJPSA, and the NJEA. Joyce was a loving and devoted, wife, mother, sister, and friend.

Daughter of the late Frank and Dorothy (Wolniewicz) Pypcznski; beloved wife of the late Charlie Palumbo; Joyce is survived by her loving son, Charles Palumbo and wife Laura; a sister, Penny Pypcznski Skaggs and husband Robert Skaggs; a brother, Frank Pypcznski and wife Cynthia; a sister-in-law, Patty and husband Mike Prahl; a brother-in-law, Jack Palumbo and wife Becky; many nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, November 20, 2015 at 10:00 am at Incarnation Church, 1545 Pennington Ave., Ewing, NJ. Burial will follow in the New St. Hedwig’s Cemetery, Eggerts Crossing Rd., Ewing, NJ. Family and friends may call Thursday from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Parkside Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 1584 Parkside Ave., Ewing, NJ 08638.
