HOSEIN, Popo (nee Maharaj), age 86, of Fort Pierce, Florida, on June 7, 2020. Born in Trinidad, she resided there for 45 years emigrating to the United States. She lived in Hackensack for 35 years settling in Ft. Pierce, FL 9 years ago. Popo worked as a nursing assistant 14 years with Hackensack University Medical Center retiring in 2000. She is predeceased by her husband, Fizan Ali Hosein in 1992, her son, Suresh Maharaj, her grandson, Nicholas Kahn in 2000, and two sisters, Molly Ramnarine and Mintee Ishmael. She is survived by three daughters, Nancy Oliver and husband David, Celia Klaver and her late husband Lou, and Sonja Maharaj, eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and her siblings, Joe Ramkissoon, Ram Ramkissoon, Mamin Leesing, Polly Clarke, and Cintra Kanhai.
