Gerald Applegate

Gerald “Jerry” W. Applegate, II, age 66, died Friday, January 24, 2020 at home in Robbinsville, NJ. Mr. Applegate was born May 29, 1953 in Trenton, NJ. He was a lifelong area resident. He worked as both a truck driver for many years and then as a pipe fitter for Industrial Pipe Fitters, Inc. Jerry was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He loved riding his motorcycle and enjoyed fishing. Jerry was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend to many. Son of the late Gerald W. and Jane L. (Heisler) Applegate; husband to the late Rose (Stevenson) Applegate with whom he had 3 children; Gerald is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Michelle (Greco) Applegate; his 3 children, Gerald W. III, Jennifer and Steven Applegate; 4 grandchildren, Chandler Applegate, Steven Alvarez, Alexis and Chelsea Applegate; 2 sisters, Jane L. and husband John Hemingway and Donna L. and husband Carl “Tony” Maglowski; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Memorial visitation will be held Saturday, February 1, 2020 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Hamilton Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 2365 Whitehorse-Mercerville Rd., Hamilton, NJ 08619.
